Summary Of Works

20 No Concrete, Potable, Water tanks in total, located in Tower Blocks. The tanks are sized as follows:
- 2 No. Basement water Tanks in each tower block, each sized at approximately 1.6m x 1.2m x 2.4m - 2 No. Roof top plant room water tanks in each tower block each sized at approximately 5.3m x 3m x 2.4m

The tanks had previously been lined with asphalt several inches thick and bitumen, neither of which are approved by WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) or DWI (Drinking Water Inspectorate) for potable / drinking water storage because of potentially carcinogenic properties that could leach into the water supply due the tar / high solvent content. The Client needed a tank coating that was compliant with current water regulations - Regulation 31(4)(a), was easy to clean and maintain coupled with a long term guarantee.
